I’ve got a story about while I was playing ORAS, AS to be specific. This doesn’t have to do with a shiny Pokémon but it’s a great thing that happened to me a few years ago. I was playing AS and was flying around on Latias when I saw a bunch of black clouds. At the time I didn’t actually know what they were so I flew towards the clouds and ended up battling Thunderus (probably spelled the name wrong). After a bit I managed to catch it with a Repeat Ball. I started shouting because I’d never caught a Legendary Pokémon before (I’d failed to catch Kyogre the first time I fought it), so this was an achievement. How I caught it with a Repeat Ball I don’t know (my friend said that it was a rare thing, though catching any Legendary is possibly hard-).

I haven't been up to date and played Sun and Moon or USUM but this is what shiny hunting has become? I thought shiny hunting was supposed to be extremely difficult, warranting immense appreciation? I suppose if this is what people like, to each their own, I like the grind and earning it with the odds being much lower, people are saying 36% chance of shiny in the wormhole?
