i remember how i learned to ride a bicycle in a parking lot, my bike had training wheels & they got bent a little at a time so i could fall a bit to either side until the wheels touched & sometimes there were those in-between moments where i felt the freedom of balance.... eventually, the moments of balance became longer than the moments of being held up & the training wheels became a hindrance...so my dad took them off & it was like flying...

There's one thing in this transmission that didn't feel right at all. When Eckhart mentions: "If you think your life is a big success, you are in a state of temporary delusion". That's not true. My life is actually a big success and success is something that we define on our own terms. For me, success is continuous growth, excitement, and a grounded feeling of satisfaction within. I am finding myself mostly in such a place and it is not a temporary delusion. I assume that there are also others who do and feel attracted by your teachings as well. So we exist, haha, we are real, we did the work and know what's real and what's not! Thank you for the rest of the transmission, I totally resonated with it!

From where I'm sitting, If one is present how is it possible to be absent at the same time? You are either aware or unaware. Consciousness' is a simple function of the brain. Anyone who has been knocked out or under an anesthetic knows well the difference. It is impossible to know something you don't already know. My Two Cents!

One can be present with the senses and what is happening. And absent with thought about that.
@williamdiaz26452 жыл бұрын
@@paulmetdebbie447 Our mind is filled with the chaos of swirling thoughts that we have little or no control over. It's called psychic entropy, a lack of control over our own minds. Our five senses, sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell, operate independently of each other. They each provide different information which is interpreted by the brain. This is why law enforcement seldom relies on "eye witness" accounts. Your thoughts influence your actions, and that's a more powerful phenomenon than you might think. You are basically and organic computer. Any illusion of self control is just that....an illusion.

Does this translate to our passions and things we love to do as our escape from ourself? Is the reason we have “passions” that we often say “lose ourselves in” we are able to find ourselves in causing us to be fully present in the bow of doing what makes us feel “alive”? Like is that what you’re saying? Is there a connection? I think I get that we get addicted to things that make us feel free. Because we think that we feel so peaceful and alive due to whatever we are doing or not doing within the moments of consciousness?
