@@immortalanimations2955 the user who locked this add on restricted access due to permission issues. i don't know if there was content used in that mod that was used without the original creators permission or if there is another issue going on with it. as long as they are having those issues. knowing that there is a problem with that add on; i'm going to leave that one alone.

Through the Steam app, you will need to subscribe to Gargantua through the Space Engine workshop. once subscribed, it will download the object to your library of addons 🙂🙂

I'm not sure why it was doing that. It may have been because I wasn't locked on to the object, so it would drift as I was moving forward. I was constantly moving the camera to the left to keep the object centered. For another video i did recently i kept the target locked on as i was approaching.

@@pdeysel2 for my machine I'm running an intel core i7 9700k, with the rtx 2070 super and 32gb memory. it runs decent, but i keep the resolution at 1080p to allow it to run smoother and to get a better frame rate. if prices weren't as inflated today. a build like that would be cheaper than a ps5 or series X

For the way i play the game, i searched for the object at the pace i found suitable. i could have set the speed of travel faster or slower, or i could have traveled there instantly. but from the way i like to play it, i also like to see what else i discover along the way before i reach my destination. 🙂

how do u discover something when its a dot ?

​@@darkdoge9267 Its no different than if you ere looking in a telescope.. you have a lot of dots in the sky.. you zoom in, and you may find planets with their own satellites. you zoom in a bit deeper and you could find another galaxy that is also another dot that may contain another cluster of smaller dots that contain stars and planets

@@michaeldreemurrandhisaus2165 if the object of interest i am looking for is a long distance away, ill find other galaxies and nebula along the way. its fun to explore in space engine when you get outside the boundaries of one galaxy. it reminds me of what you might see during a plane flight at night. the blobs of city lights representing the separate urban areas on the ground below.
