I've got limited mechanical experience as well, definitely more so, and the last time I tried simply fitting a full exhaust system to my old clio sport it was giving me grief and I could've quite easily gone on complete psychotic murderous rampage in the local village.

Best service station is Extra on M1 near Leeds. Stunning wave design exterior, circular interior layout with the likes of Burger King, WHSmiths, Nando’s and all with their own communal seating indoors & outdoors. Superb gaff.

Good diagnoses. That's wild to think they used some nonferrous alloy for the cylinders. Very unlikely it's stuck rings then. I vaguely rem reading bout them long ago but yah Not good. They at least always come out faster than dropping in, takes 30mins for my one car but it has a motorplate.
