Finding Pilchards & Kayak Cast-netting From Sitting Position

I was gonna do my extremely delinquent work when I saw the sun and flat calm winds. Whatcha going to do? I figured it would also give me a chance to untie my Wilderness Systems Tarpon 140 from the tree that I had lashed it to hoping that it would survive a class 4 Hurricane. Once I got out on that mirror calm water, I went on the hunt for my fish candy and figured it would be a good day to show those non-standers how to catch bait while sitting. Got my bucket full and headed out. By this time the wind started picking up and I was getting snipped by a bunch of toothy critters. Finally, saw and landed a couple of Cero Mackerel. They are in shore. Happy days.
