I love how you put it. The thoughts should not take center stage, they just need to be a side act. It eliminates the need, my ego thinks, to kill all my thoughts because I will never stop the thoughts, they will always be there, but as side acts.

..................and, another thing that we can point out, is the idea of thinking with the heart, or heart centered thinking. Learn to correlate your thinking with heart resonance. At any given moment ask what your heart thinks about whatever is in front of you. I think when you came up with....." learn to step into the greater Realms of Being and Awareness, as opposed to your particular mode of awareness.........", I think this is an example of a Heart centered thought.

Yes. My experience is, Being ( just stopping and resting as you are right now, without adding anything else) is knowing. It’s a field, an ocean of being and knowing, that if embodied would be heart centred when oneness is also felt. In seeing everyone as you (the self) there is no opposition/separation. So the dropping down out of the head and down into the body, is the body resonating wisdom and unconditional love. Like a tuning fork.

......And, Yea, I'm still here and I've got what you've just said! Nice job! Love the way you never fail to express that falling to the thinking mind is a vibrational step downwards. Our universities need to hear that one! Krishnamurti, after coming back from a 2 hour walk in nature, used to say that not one single thought entered his head........Thanks Collette!

Spot on Collette, lovely 🙏💚 I recognize that I have often used the mind to try to work on the mind 😂. And I often catch my self on a thougut-train with multiple tickets in my hand - and then, just let go and drop down to open for life-flow and presence, then there is contact with peace🌷 Lene

I think Roman Maharshi said that the I-thought is the root of all thoughts. Dispose of the I-thought and all other thinking stops. Seems to work here! It stops me thinking that thoughts are the enemy and if thoughts appear it seems that if I just enquire as to whom do they appear they cease.

@@phk2000 sounds like you’ve really dropped into self inquiry Phil. Asking from the place of being/knowing prior to picking up the mental realm. Folding in on that space of being ( the silence when no answer is given is recommended) x
@phk20004 ай бұрын
@@collettewhiteman I have to tell you I read about Romana Maharshi and self-enquiry years ago, but as usual, seemed to think that if I understood it I would "have it." Seems that this is like doing a university degree on the benefits of exercise. You might understand the subject but if you don't do the exercise nothing will change! Then, understanding there was no reality to the ego-sense of me, when doing self-enquiry I would try to go straight to the universal me, rather than the ego. That's OK, but because I was l trying to bypass the ego I wasn't at first seeking to find the ego and so was missing out on the experience of not finding it! Recently I decided I'd search for the ego-me when doing self-enquiry - just to see if there was a difference. I thought I would have to "cut my way through" the ego-me to get to the universal. What a surprise I had! There was absolutely not a trace of the ego-me to be found - NOTHING. And there is NO EFFORT required either. I thought it would need a lot of mental application, but NO! Of course, why would it take effort to be what you already are?? Self-enquiry is so simple! I have found the "space" I find myself in when I do it to be one that can be maintained easily and I am walking around with a huge smile on my face. I can also see why Romana and others - Scott Flynn for example, say that once you master Self-Enquiry all questions are answered. Seems to be that way for me! (It's Peter, not Phil by the way - but it's OK - I am not a name! 😂) x

@@paul3009 Hi Paul I do weekly calls on a Sunday, for 4 weeks at a time, for people who have had a 1-1 call with me. I find this works well, as there is an awareness of where everyone is. It’s mostly guided marinating in being 🤣for 20 - 30 mins, then questions or a topic that arises or someone from the group puts forward. Usually 8-10 people in the group.
