Excellent job. Good explanation on mark size and boat speed relationship.

Another great video Brett! Side imaging makes such a huge difference. Appreciate you taking the time to share some of your knowledge. The quality of the fish in Lake Sakakawea has been incredible this year.

Great videos Brett! Really gives some perspective around SI and speed and how it affects what you see. Any interest in trading me straight up for my Gen 1 Helix 7's with SI...lol. Just kidding...Upgrading my boat and all electronics soon enough so they will have to work for the time being🤣

Very cool, definitely gonna take some practice to use this effectively. What speed was the SI running?
@BloemendaalFishing Жыл бұрын
Chart speed at 5

@@BloemendaalFishing Nice, the longer marks would be easier to see vs the rice size marks right? I’ve struggled with SI for a while. I’m gonna try this. Thanks.

They would. Higher chart speed is usually a better thing I think, but then they also go off the screen faster. Either way, when you’re idling at 3-5 mph, they’re going to be fairly small.

So what range do you use going so slow?
@BloemendaalFishing Жыл бұрын
I use 100, some use 70-80 feet to get a clearer picture.
