I can't believe you're getting them that close to the boat on the cranks... just goes to show you don't always need to be 100 ft back 👍🍻

Hey Clayton, love the content. You should show some other lakes other than Lake of the Prairies. How about Crooked Lake? Show exactly where you go and what to use. That would be awesome supposed to be good fish there.
@ClaytonSchickOutdoors3 ай бұрын
Hmmm… well my first video of the year was from crooked… Then I fished 2 days on Lotp (which I made 4 videos and one more to come). I also just came back from lml. I show TONS of different lakes :)

@@ClaytonSchickOutdoorsAwesome. Love last mountain, I guess I never noticed the Crooked Lake video cus you didn’t mention where you were, sorry for not paying attention. You did catch a nice 27” there. Big fish. Love the Kailins bobbers. Tom Boley did a great job on the development on those. Keep the great videos coming.

You win some and you lose some. As much as I think you can win them all Clayton it keeps you honest and working even harder when you are not number one but even number 15. You are a good sport. Great ambassador for fishing. Handling the bigger fish with such care. I have learned much on handling and releasing big fish from your videos. Thanks for teaching those things to us. Keep it up. Can’t wait till the next video. Looking forward to some big toothy pike videos in the future.

Hey Clayton! I have a question. I’m relatively new to walleye fishing and my dad and I don’t have sonar. Would targeting structure visible without sonar like rocky points, inflow and outflow areas, weed edges, weed pockets, visible drop offs, flats with scattered weeds, boulders, and rocky shorelines work well? Is there any other visible structure that would be good to target? I would mostly be using lures like grubs, crankbaits, blade baits, lipless crankbaits, etc.

Just fished a tournament last weekend fought ranger electrical problems for our prefishing fished 6 hours without a bite in 40+ mph wind gusts and the fish finally started running the last 2 hours we finished with a 16.5lbs bag or 108.5 inches we were within .40 pounds of 1st place sometimes it seems like you have to get sunburnt and feel like you have completely forgotten how to catch a walleye and then things completely change!!
