How lovely and bittersweet it was for me to see Pickity Place again. I used to visit there with a good friend when I lived in Merrimack, New Hampshire many years ago. Sadly, we moved to South Carolina when my husband was transferred. I have always missed New Hampshire and that friend who I have lost contact with over the years. I feel like my soul belongs in New England. Yours is my favorite KZbin channel.

And I think it's time for a visit also to the House by the Side of the Road, another fun place to go to! Looks like you had an Awesome Day!

Pickity Place was one place that I went to, quite often. Fond memories of taking my mom to lunch and my daughter and granddaughters. The huge tree out front was wonderful, the carving is so amazing. I love Tasha Tudor as well. I have several of her books, and have watched videos of her home and amazing gardens. She was one of a kind. Angel hugs, ❤

Your garden and landscaping is beautiful! What fun to see you at Pickety Place. I've been going there for over 20 years. My sister, mom and I would go every other month. Now my sister and I go every month. We always sit at the same table😊. It's a promise we made to each other. No matter how busy we are, we will at least have lunch together every month. I wished I had seen you there, I would have said hello! It has changed over the years. There used to be geese at an old coop by the parking lot and sheep in the back toward the garden barn, and I do miss that old tree. They have done a beautiful job on the book exchange they made out of it though, and now they have two very friendly orange resident cats😊. Thank you for another lovely video.

What a charming and magical place Pickity Place is!! It would be such a calming and relaxing place to spend a few hours, and I loved those pink poppies with the exquisite centres that look like black lace! That was a brilliant DIY project with the 3 colours of spray paint! Never would have thought of doing anything like that!! It certainly DOES look like cement now! Amazing end result! :) ~~M~~

Linda, I just love garden ornaments, metal & stone. There is a place in Williamsburg VA that sells not only garden stones & boulders, but garden ornaments and statuary from all over the world. Some are small enough to fit in a modest garden; others are meant for large estates. It’s always a treasure hunt!
