And we are all sending love and positivity to Ren rn as he's had a set back with his autoimunnity and ended up in the hospital this past weekend.💙💙💙

This one was filmed with two iPhone 7's and that's Samuel Perry-Falvey (the cinematographer for 90% of Ren's MV's) driving the car :)

I am not quite on the same page as you. I think the POWER Ren sings of is his Music. Music not only gives him power, it is power. When everything goes wrong he focusses on his Music (Power). Adding my thoughts and wishes to those of everyone else who is wishing Ren a prompt and lasting recovery.

I feel like I'm on the same page as you, or at least in the same chapter. In writing and performing his music, Ren allows himself to express himself and release the pent up negative emotions to help him heal. I'm also sending wishing for a quick and lasting recovery.

Someone On REN’s Patreon chat recommended your reaction video - I really enjoyed your take on Power but also was taken with the words you said afterwards as a therapist - really resonated with me . New sub here - can’t wait to check out your other stuff .

I absolutely adore David, I wish I could pick his brain about my journey over the past 20 years with chronic illness and pain. I'd also LOVE to see David react to Ren's Million Subscriber message defining success!!

Love your reactions, all of you ❤❤❤ There's a Knox Hill song featuring Ren called Fentanyl that I hope one of you will react to. As you can guess by the title, it's not an easy listen, but the message is so important right now

I've seen this so many time and just realised it's filmed in Bristol.... I'm born and bread Bristolian...how did I not notice? Because this is a uplifting tune ❤

Ren has plenty of upbeat stuff... but the seeing him move beyond doesn't entirely exist right now. Not even because the health fight isn't over. He's said that the Sick Boi rap album was the story of his pain and struggle. His next album that he's working on now is to be another chapter.

Eclectic is a great word to define Ren’s artistry! He truly has found or gifted with the Power of music not only for himself but his growing community of fans❣️ Our gift back is to spread his music, love and lift him every way possible especially now during his wellness setback🙏🏻💫 Another great reaction David with a positive message👍🏼

Really appreciate all the medical professionals who react to Ren. When we hear your takes on the industry it's refreshing to know that many of your care and get it. Being open and honest about some of the flaws and cracks that so many fall into. It's refreshing!

Love the concept of "flipping the script until I find my power", that was precious.

I love this guy. Seriously, where have you been all my life? Maybe I would be far less messed up right now and not be on the brink of death. Simply because something inside me gave up a long time ago. Oh well. Hopefully I'll see you guys on the other side. Until then, I'll try to appreciate every moment I have left until the end. And finding people like this annoyingly genuine and heartfelt teddy bear of a therapist helps more than I care to admit. David Lovely couldn't be a more perfect name for such a lovable man.

I wish more medical professionals did this. I think it bridges a gap between patient and doctor, but I think it also brings perspective and empathy back to medical professionals who may just get burnt out or numb to the process. Kudos. 💜 Also, this song is such a bop. We all need to find our POWER, whatever form that may take. 😀

Enjoyed this reaction to one of my 8 favorite Ren songs! (The rest of this comment is going to be a little strange, because this video had me go down a little trivia rabbit hole--part of my ASD nature, I think. 😂 There even seems to be a little synchronicity involved, possibly.): When I saw the name of your practice, Atma MD, and you mentioned being in Lawrence, Kansas, I was reminded of an old prog song by Kansas: Incomudro--Hymn to the Atman. I wasn't sure what Atman meant, so I looked it up and got this definition: "In Hinduism, atman is a Sanskrit word that refers to the eternal self or soul of an individual, and is considered one of the most basic concepts in the religion." (I'm not sure if the name of your clinic is related to that?) After that little bit of research, I watched your reaction and saw Ren make the mudra shape with his hands when he says, "Brings freedom to my weary mind." I wasn't sure what "mudra" means, so I looked it up: "A mudra is a symbolic or ritual gesture or pose in Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism." And the particular gesture that Ren used is called the vitarka mudra, or the "mudra of consciousness and deliberation," which fits right in with the theme of this song: power! So I somehow connected Atma MD > Kansas > the band Kansas > Atman > Hinduism > Hindu hand gesture > consciousness and deliberation > Ren's Power. 😂
