Took a bit until I realized that the thumbnail belongs to your video :D M&M's as running food? Sounds terrible, but you do you :D There are a lot of cheaper gels out there than the one you showcased btw, but if I were to go for a cheap substitute it would be gummy bears. A lot more sugar, a lot less fat. Definitely a closer match to actual gels. And one thing I always consider is minerals. The gels that make me feel the best usually have a high sodium/magnesium content. A lot of people just have electrolytes in a separate bottle to top off what they are losing through sweat, but I like the simplicity of combining the gel with it. With water I had it work really well once when I forced myself to only have one or two sips every kilometer. That way I stayed consistent, but also didn't overdo it :)

Yeah, I tried to play around with the Thumbnail/Title to see if it would help with a larger reach. Gummy Bears are a good shout I've seen a bunch of people recommending them on Reddit they're just too chewy for me and tend to get stuck in my teeth. How's your preparations for the Half Marathon coming along?

@@Austin.McInerney Oh I'm in a slump with training. But it's okay, I've got time :D Just a mix of allergies and my training buddy being sick. But despite those weeks of doing only a few runs I ran another 5k PB on Tuesday, so the endurance is still there :)
