I like the feel of 4 straights. But you have to have the pocket for it. On the other hand when 4 straights arent legal i get super simple going with no shooters some of the time or just 2 straights or 3 striaghts. Also i never really liked useing a nylon. It just adds to much snap for me and ive never had problems with the ball hitting off the plastic.

While we are all home can we get more due tutorials on how to do certain techniques? A Damascus dye from COD MW would be dope!!!

I think a lot of younger players just want to emulate their favorite player. I remember when I was in High School, Mikey Powell was my favorite player so I used an Edge with 1 nylon and a U about 3 rows below that. What they might not realize is that shooters are the last piece of the puzzle. Someone like Paul Rabil uses his shooter setup based on his head, pocket, play style, mechanics, etc. This is I really commend Greg from ECD for recommending different shooter setups in his tutorial videos. Or, they are trying to emulate a pocket that worked for them in the past, not taking into account the head has different geometry and/or a different pocket placement and shape.

Could you do a video where you string a head to the inside, normal, and to the outside? It would be cool to see how the mesh works with each style

Would you recommend the slightly dropped shooters on a Stringking 2A with a Mid pocket? In my experience, it's a wider offensive head so I could see it benefiting from this configuration. I currently use the last configuration and I really like it but I want to add a bit more whip to my stick.
@scorch9464 жыл бұрын
You think the 2A is wide?....
@RobHebden4 жыл бұрын
@@scorch946 Comparing the profiles on offensive heads, the throat of the head is 100% on the wider side; especially compared to Maverik's line of offensive heads.

Yes! Dropped shooter setup if you dont over channel the pocket.

What other mesh do you think fiber 2 most closely relates to for transferring patterns? Type 4x?

What are your thoughts on not rocking shooters? I generally run stacked shooters with a nylon depending on the channel, but also with a well defined channel I can get away with no shooters depending on the heads geometry.
@thronelacrosse4 жыл бұрын
If you like it go for it! There are some arguments against it. But it is baller looking.

Thoughts on the original CEO as an attack head? It has a face shape I like and it’s cheaper now. Any another suggestions?
@thronelacrosse4 жыл бұрын
The CEO is a unique head. The newer Optik 2.0 has a lot of the qualities of the CEO but in a more robust design.
