No one discusses the extreme itchiness that comes with the lowering estrogen in perimenopause. The itchiness has been insane for me. Through much trial and error, as well as research, I asked for biodentical estrogen cream. If I forget it for over 2 days, the itching on the outside comes back with a vengeance.

Estrace is great BUT I hate the ingredients list! Parabens, sodium laurel sulfate, lots of bad things. Is there a healthier version???

The cream has worked for me so well for many years and stopped my chronic UTIs and yeast infections. It was like a miracle. Also, I was told to insert an amount the size of a blueberry and I have no problem with messy underwear. It’s all good!

I had side effects to estradiol cream but I don't see many others talking about this. Stomach cramps and gurgling for like 2 days. What could be causing this? Script called for 1 gram every 3 days. I used 1/2 gram.

Currently been using the cream 2x weekly For burning and uti's by finger application. It was great for about 8 weeks but then I think I had an yeast infection ...I was burning a lot! I did use monistat for 7 nights with improvement. Never has a yeast infection without antibiotic use. Any thoughts?

I’m on Prempro .625/2.5. I take 2 every morning. I have heard you and others mention that estradiol is preferred over the estrogen in prempro. I have never heard you or anyone say why. Now I’m questioning my choice. Why is one form preferred over the other? Thank you for educating us women in our 40s, 50, and beyond.

Why does the cream burn my vulva area when I apply it there???Makes me not use it because the burning is real and lasts for several days. Any suggestions? Thanks

Sometimes that happens at first for a while because skin needs it - sounds crazy I know - but give it time and see if improvement happens

Not supposed to burn at all it might be 1 of the Additional garbage ingredients that are hard on skin Depending on what cream you get.

Do you need to take this estrogen cream forever? My gyno prescribed it but didn't say more than I should feel better in 3 months. I still don't feel better and stopped taking it because it's hard to use the applicator. 😢

Yes, forever. If you stop using it all your symptoms will return.

Loved the Estring but it was so expensive and always on back order. It was also never reliable as far as time. Sometimes it would last 2 months and others it would last the full 3 months. The cream works great and is inexpensive but mess.
