My Tegu Buddy was absolutely obsessed with an old hacky sack that I had. Never "played" with anything else . Lucky for her that toy lasted her entire life...I'm glad that I kept it in a memory box after she passed.

All reptiles need toys... my blue tongues have balls, paper bags, small plant pots and small stuffed animals (they cuddle up to them) they can push around and reorganize. I switch them out so it’s always different and they love it.

Do leopard geckos need toys? A genuine question, no sarcasm
@someoneelse47104 жыл бұрын
@@zach_31106 if they are intelligent creatures they need some sort of mental stimulation. Decorations, places to hide or climb, toys. Even fish need mental stimulation--fish like bettas that are particularly smart and aware of their surroundings will explore and interact with their environment. Mice and other rodents too. Same can be applied for reptiles :)

Yeah my older bearded dragon likes to roll around on round things in his viv. I got some cat balls with a bell for my ackie a few months back but she's scared of them. Might need to wait until she's bigger and give her the more squishy ones.

My Savannah monitor, Brutus, recently discovered a cat toy in the shape of a butterfly on a string I had bought for my sisters cats. He absolutely adores that toy and loves to play with it. He chases it around and when he catches it he plays tugg of war, deathrolls and everything. I had tried different dog toys before but he never seemed interested. This one is defenatly a favorite for him even tho it was a chance find. Whenever hes just lazing around and that butterfly catches his attention he immediatly comes running at it like crazy. Even after I take it away he keeps looking for it. Its a great way to excersize him and he seems to enjoy it a lot.

Males can get between 4-6ft, he is right about at 4 ft, he grows slower now that he is a year and a half. Females are smaller about 3-4ft. They grow fast in the first 1-1/12 years then grow a little slower bu about 2-21/2 years they are full size.
