I have had them for 2 years, they are a well constructed bighorn copy. They perform exactly as stated. Don't expect much from them in the winter, they are definitely best on trail type conditions, not in deep snow. They are okay on ice and groomed trails.

Have a set on my buggy. Works great in everything but snow and sand, as they dig in to much and just bury them self. But it's a great all around tire and the best part is it's a Canadian company. I'll definitely be staying with traxion for tires from now on out.

When I need ATV tires, I get whatever my dealer has in stock. My dealer brings in tractor trailer loads of one type and brand of tire and you get a great deal. Less than $400 tax in for 26 in tires for my grizzly. One season it was AMS slingshots, another season it was ITP Mud Lite and this season it was Zillas.

High performance semi hard compound the Gripper Max is not optimal for winter use. Bewtter choose a maxxis bighorn 2.0 or the CST Stag with soft compound, those are great in the winter.

@BriceGarrett86 It's a little more technical as the radial carcass is automotive derived and 2 plies overlap on 1/3 of the sidewall on an automotive semi-hard compound. I desinged it so it would not destroy itself on large displacement machine like the hot rodded X3 I used to own. My oem BH 2.0 rears we're toast after 300km of riding the X3 like I stole it. The molds look like a BH original but it ain't (copyright you know) like at both closely you'll see. The Gripper Max's only low point is ice. the compound get too hard (not bad as some other brands using this same mold) and quickly loses traction. in deep packed stuff though it rips. It's my first ground up desing and after three years of steadily increasing sales i'm happy with them and the very low failures (and warranty claims) speaks volumes. For the asking retail price I still get a smile on my face riding them hard. I sponsor two racers, one on a Can-Am Renegade 800 that has not had a tire failure in three years (every two races with his previous tires) won two championships. The other on a Yamaha YXZ 1000R that races either my Alpha or the Gripper max and had only two failures in about 90 races. Runner up two years straight and last season was crowned champion in UTV N/A category. Proof is there, they work and for the asking price the Gripper maxs are a great value in my opinion. I wish I could really build the tire I want but nobody would buy a 300$ 30 inch tire. I woud'nt so why sould I try and sell some to you guys? Just wait and see what i'm working on next! I hope you like them.
