AI is also taking over in planning. Let’s assume you’ve done a proper assessment of your clients needs. You now have a pretty solid idea on what to do to solve the client’s problem. Here is where AI comes into play. You prompt for refinement of your idea and ask for what holes or potential drawbacks that could develop for a more airtight system solution. You take that refined idea make the necessary edits and tailor it in a style that your client would understand and present them with that solution.

Great video - love the in depth workshops. Just an FYI from a marketing psychology consultant - it’s Sunk Cost Fallacy. A portion of its effects are due to Loss Aversion. Not Sunk Loss Bias 😊

Great video man. A little unsolicited advice for those looking to maximize their cold email impact, remember that personalization is key. Tailor your messages to the recipient's industry, company size, and even recent news about their business for a higher response rate.

Popping in to say 1. LOVE these videos, super helpful. Thank you! 2. Hopefully someone can pass this info on to the woman in the front row... Just a heads up on the advice given (to Kesia?) at 17:57 about tailoring the pitch decks for FinTech startup clients to what the VCs want -this is not the way to go. We've been working with VCs and tech startups for 10+ years and this is something VCs warn startups against all the time, because sometimes founders will do this and it's a mistake. VCs may "get them to the next level" but VCs won't invest in startups until the startups' customers buy/signup or otherwise get them to the next level first. Once traction is proven with customers, VCs will start to care. What VCs actually want (and what will really get the startup to the next level) is for the startups to focus on customer traction (it was referred to as "signups" in this example). Startups need to 100% focus on what their customers want which will get them traction, they should not be focusing or presenting what the VCs want. Veteran & experienced startup founders learn this after going through multiple accelerator programs and pitching to multiple VCs where they'll hear different conflicting advice from different VCs and mentors, even from the same VC firm/accelerator program. They eventually learn it's impossible to try to do everything all the VCs say and it's often confusing. Startups always need to learn from and speak from the customers words/actions - and reflect that in the pitch decks. One last bit to consider - the timing of the current market. 2023 VC market was at six-year lows in 2023 and saw a 35% year-over-year decrease from the already declining VC investment levels of 2022. During these lows, startups are always encouraged to focus on traction, not funding. ;)

Chris, I’ve been leaving this comment in a few videos and now I’m leaving this here, I feel like after watching a lot of your content one of the biggest issues I’ve seen is a lot of the time it seems like people truly struggle to understand branding and a brand voice. Recently I found a pattern I think no one is talking about and you being you I think you could do something with this. We’re told to make a cult like following but no one talks about that in depth. And I found a pattern by asking how do religions market? And when you see the list of everything they do you start to see a blueprint for success, you say Blair says I think there’s patterns in success, so the patterns here is religions do all these things to grow, so instead of religion replace the idea with your brand. There’s a lot to take away from this and most of all this is going to make is easier for all of us to connect faster for a longer time. I think there’s something here, maybe I’m crazy but I’d love to break this down with you sometime to see if this holds or not.

48:00 I think one good example for quality != results is McDonalds. They spend much more in marketing than in producing quality burgers. They make it predictable and good enough with their franchise which is some form of quality but marketing is what is responsible for lost of their revenue.
