I gave toy ski gear demonstrations to invited guest and Disney studio teams, then the next day interviews with World’s Press ….a magical week filled with a whirlwind of happy, exciting memories..

Disney owns everything. Very corporate business now. I wonder if Walt Disney would be pleased.
@FindTheMouse4 жыл бұрын
Bill Lozier Disneyland only opened and succeeded thanks to corporate sponsorships established by Walt’s brother Roy. Roy Disney was the money guy and Walt was the creative force. After he ran his business into the ground (Laugh-O-Gram Studios), Walt moved followed Roy to California to go into business for themselves. Without Roy’s leadership they would’ve never created Hyperion Studios, that gave birth to Walt Disney Studios and then Disneyland. Which was only made possible by sponsorships from big business thanks to deals made by Roy. So I think it’s safe to say that Walt understood the need for business to build dreams.
@billlozier55514 жыл бұрын
@@FindTheMouse yes I get that. I'm old enough to remember. Roy took care of the money. Doesn't mean Walt would be pleased with everything. I mean really, Disney owns everything!! Well, almost. Lol. Do prices have to be so high that families have to spend a fortune to visit the happiest place on earth? But we are a Capitalist country. So I can't blame Disney for doing it better than everyone else.

It crushed my dad and he turned to alcohol, where he still is to this day a hardcore homeless alcoholic, and my mom turned to drugs and alcohol. Pretty sad story for people who were so talented and played a big part in a lot of peoples childhoods 😔 But something good that has come from some of this, my brother and I have carried on as artists, since they raised us around it of course. The sign at Mickey av and Dopey Dr is NOT accurate! As is a lot of things on the lot.. it's a prop. They don't and never did point accurately to any of the listed items. Other than the names of the streets that the are on. You cannot buy this tour directly and it is a closed studio. The only ways to get on the lot are as follows: The expensive Adventures by Disney SoCal tours, earning enough points thru Disney movie club, or having an executive of the company give or grant a tour. There are other ways on occasion, Make-a-wish foundation or some other charity, but again that falls under the executive grant. BTW the commissary food is quite good and fresh.

From Walt Disney to woke Disney. From creative expression to political expression. I’m afraid it won’t take a decade before they have no choice but to merge Disney animation and Pixar, that’s how fast they are bleeding money now and it makes me sad
@thorbjornjohansson1811 Жыл бұрын
This has nothing to do with woke. I admit, the execution of how they address political themes isn’t good in most of the movies, but the fact that they do it isn’t the problem. For me the worst part about Disney nowadays is the lack of creativity, they don’t take risks anymore, the company doesn’t develop and relies too much on what they created in the past. It’s all just about the money, that’s why modern Disney movies all seem to be copy and paste.
