This is the best ultra running documentary I've ever seen. As a kiwi living in Scotland, seeing the importance of our unique culture that our Māori have gifted to us and our incredible landscape has cemented a desire to make Tarawera my goal. I've run through the Redwoods and around Tikitapu/Blue Lake in multiple events and my family live in Tauranga so seeing Adrian train and race on these familiar trails that I consider wā kāinga was extra special. Now to wipe my tears and get to work.
