Hi Matt. Really enjoying your videos. My main interest is intarsia, but I feel it's important to understand carving as well to help me with that. Just noticed you answered my question in your description. I suspect the extra fine saburrtooth burrs are very similar to the Kutzall fine burrs, which might be why they decided to make another category. Cheers

That Intarsia looks very intricate and amazing, just had a look at some on google. I tried to look at some pics of those whisper cant really tell. will have to try some. Cheers

I absolutely love the way your eyes turn out in these carvings! No matter how hard I try, for some reason, I can't get that eyelid going right. I end up with very deep holes in the face where the eyes are. and then there is no wood left for the eyelids! I can get the eyes rounded, but then I'm just left with the brow and the eyes. Frustrating, I'll get it though eventually, I suppose. I usually do. I've only been doing this dremel carving for about 2 weeks.

Also, I do use the Kutzall burrs, but I only have the coarse flame, the coarse taper, and the coarse ummm...triangle shaped one?

Well if you been going for only two weeks, it sounds like your doing a great job. Eyes are very difficult, sounds like you need to leave more wood to carve in for the Eyes. I tend to use the kutzall fine long taper burr then diamond burrs for details.

Saburrtooth where you buy

Depends where you live. Google for local stockists or can buy from their US store shipping is sometimes expensive though.
