With that solid finish and drawer pull feature I wouldn’t have looked twice at it either. Who knew it was solid wood? 1970s had plenty of ornately added features that were not wood but plastic with veneers over plywood. Unique piece. Great job again!

Love what you've made this set into and even though it's sad to not have a vanity - our society doesn't use vanities any longer... you've kept a nice piece of wood furniture out of the landfill!!! Great job. Now about the cat... all shops need a cat and bless you for saving her. And by the way, you are a "cat" person now!! You nailed it with the "night stands". No one will notice it was once a vanity. Excellent quality work. I enjoy jobs like that. One project I did was similar. It was an antique bed, oak, that was double and the lady wanted it to be a queen size. The challenge, as with you, was to make it look like that was the way it was supposed to be. It turned out "pretty good". Well done Trina.

You make even the most mundane look spectacular. I can appreciate that a LOT of the grunt work goes unnoticed - it goes without saying that it is important not only to make furniture look good, but to function properly and smoothly. Your videoing skills are also improving tremendously. They are coherent, logical and include the necessary details, but none of the dead time. How good it is to see you again, you know this is a favorable energy to obtain a positive result from everything that you, artist friend, have been planting. The possibility of a rebirth, a new stage in life is configured. Don't let the opportunity slip away; that's what an artist like you does, she takes the rough and lets the piece emerge, because that magnitude was already there, only hidden, and in the end revealed, by her hands, that in another life, she was a Viking warrior , this is quite clear, which was one of the first invasions of England, carried out, alongside its Lord,

I love vanities. It’s a shame rooms have gotten so you can’t fit them in anymore. I find them quite glamorous and nostalgic. I live in an older house because I am partial to the design and styles of the past. I have a beautiful Art Deco bedroom set with this incredible Art Deco vanity complete with the gold lines and angles. This set your working on is very nice. I love the simple clean lines. While I’m sad the vanity was turned into side tables, the side tables turned out wonderfully. For pieces to continue to be useful it’s important that they evolve. Well done on the rest of the set as well. They all look wonderful.
