Thank you for this powerful lesson! Three topics you cover are particularly impressive: 1) the use of numerous fingerpicking patterns, which ensures the annular finger does not become "locked" to the middle finger, thereby promoting independence and strength of this often de-emphasized digit, 2) pointing out that the root bass note of a chord often is NOT one of the strings being depressed, thereby opening up a greater understanding of chord construction, and, 3) the empowerment of the student by directing THEM to choose a tune & picking style, thereby helping to cement individuality and creativity as a foundational aspect of the musical journey. Well done!

Thank you very, very much . . 😃 The hole insert I made myself; kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5CohJuZYqmVeNU but the guitar is a James Neligan. I use the hole cover because without one the camera keeps focusing inside the hole and not on my fingers. I use the James Neligan because it has good clear fret markers and people need them to see what I'm doing. I don't think James Neligan are very well known 🤔
