This is great. Former wrestler, end up in front headlock a lot either from people running from my guard pass or getting sprawled on, but I dont know how to finish from it. Really helpful.

Anyone else see that smirk sneak out of Adam when Chewy asked if he was okay 😂 Great sequence I always find myself in that front headlock position when people shoot on me but never know what to work to, gonna try this next practice for sure

Great breakdown and explaining every step along the way. I've seen so many videos (especially guillotine) where they apply the hold, barely provide any context, and move right along. Just found your channel. You've got 1 new sub. Excited to check out the rest of your content.

Awesome video!!! I used this yesterday to finish one of my rolls. Had to switch like 4 times each. Now I know why I never hit the arm in guillotine!!! Thanks Chewy!!!!!

I like sliding in Japanese Neckties from the headlock position as well. Nice string of attacks to keep people guessing.

hey chewy im a purple belt that just had meniscus surgery today, was wondering if you or anyone you've trained with before may have had a similar experience. curious about when you might suggest coming back to training. my doctor said 2-4 weeks for light exercise and training but my pain is a lot higher today then he said it would be so im scared about that timeline maybe being longer. I planned on just doing light movement drills or guard work drills with the rare coloured belts at my gym, but curious as well about when you might suggest timeline wise about when it would be ok to allow training partners to go for heel hooks and other leg attacks. thanks for the amazing content I appreciate you!

I'll make a new video. But I have a couple of meniscus videos up already. Just search them up and I have some info in there for ya. But either way, don't train through pain, come back super slow and take your time. My last one I took 12 weeks before I was back to rolling like normal.

I was expecting a 10 finger from the front head lock position. If I can get the chin like you did I definitely go 10 finger

A wrestler that knows what he is doing will drag right out. Pull the elbow to the ear first.
