Home-Ground Flour cookbook - amzn.to/3uheoGs
Our wheat grinder - amzn.to/3fF5XPS
Quiche (1 casserole dish) -
8 eggs
1 cup milk (of your choice)
1 cup mayonnaise
Frozen spinach or other greens ( I use 24 oz)
2 cups grated cheese (of your choice)
1 tsp salt
Some pepper
Whisk together eggs, milk, and mayo. Add in the rest of the ingredients and bake covered at 400 degrees for 50 minutes… then uncovered for another 10 minutes.
Creamy Paprika Chicken (this is a huge batch)
6 lbs skin-on chicken thighs
Paprika
Salt
Pepper
1 stick butter
1 head garlic
Mushrooms (or peas!)
Loads of fresh spinach
2-3 cups chicken broth
3 cups heavy whipping cream
3/4 cup cream cheese
Season chicken with paprika, salt, and pepper on both sides and fry in the butter for 3 minutes per side. Remove to a baking dish. Cook the garlic and mushrooms or peas in the remaining butter. Add in chicken remaining ingredients and cook until the spinach is cooked down. Add the spinach cream mixture to the chicken and bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. We ate it with potatoes! (And mashed cauliflower for low carb.)

She is the only family blogger that gets her kids into the kitchen... teens cook full meals.. it’s so good for them to learn so they cooking/eating at home as adults

@@KrystelSpell I WISH my mom had taught me these helpful skills, as an adult having to cook and clean for myself was a shock! I was lazy because she always did everything for me. Different doesn’t mean inferior! Have you tried to “make” a teenager do something they don’t want to do? Her kids clearly enjoy living like little house on the prairie bestie. Take your negativity elsewhere.

Thank you Sarah for giving us other mommas encouragement knowing we’re not the only mom exhausted in pregnancy, making messes with her kids and just taking one day at a time and enjoying the moments in between. Your discussion about coming home from church to a hot meal, ready to eat, reminded me of my childhood. Sunday dinners were usually special and I've always felt that it was an awesome act of love on my mom's part. That was over 50 years ago, and she's been gone over 20 years, so this video brought back sweet memories of those days.

🙋🏻‍♀️ Sarah, just wanted to share a tip to keep your oven clean. Just place a sheet pan under your baking dish, so if it does spill over you just clean the pan not the oven. Also if you line the sheet pan with aluminum foil you don’t even have to clean the pan. Hope this helps.

I have a tip for making a large amount of burgers: Get 2 or more large baking sheets (like cookie sheets) and lay down a sheet of parchment paper covering the surface. Scoop balls of ground beef onto the paper until the sheet pan is filled, leaving space between each ball for it to spread. Lay another sheet of parchment over the meat balls, making sure theyre all covered. Then lay a second baking sheet on top, and squiiiisshhh the sheet pans together. Voila!! Burger patties!!! Can do more layers of sheet pans and meat and then do the squishing for a larger yield. Once done you can cut the paper between each patty, stack, and freeze. If you have more layers you can do the squishing by standing on the very top layer of sheet pan and using your body weight, which was one of my faaaavorite things to do when I was younger 😊. My Parents had a restaurant and we used to prep large amounts of homemade burgers this way!!!

Fairlife milk is ultra pasteurized. When you do the boil method, which is what you are doing, you are boiling the milk to ultra pasteurized. ☺️ Then allowing it to cool down so when you add your starter (the yogurt) it doesn’t die from extreme heat. What I do is buy the fairlife, yogurt, and nestle sweet cream (only creamer I use for sweetener), start it in the morning, set it for 9 hours, then put it on the fridge overnight to firm and cool. Yogurt ready for the next day that my kids devour. Hope you get your energy back soon. ♥️

"Don't all small dogs do that?" all dogs do that. We call it a crazy run. We have some evergreens in the middle of our yard. Our golden doodle goes around and around it at a very high speed. I have learned to stand still and wait for him to finish so I don't get plowed down - it almost seems like their brains turn off and instinct kicks in.

We only use Fairlife milk bc my 9yr old has Type 1 Diabetes and Fairlife is much lower in carbs. She loves milk. I've never made yogurt, but I really want to. I would love to see a video using Fairlife to make yogurt.

2 of my kids and I cannot have milk with lactose. To us, lacose free milk is too sweet. Fairlife is not so sweet. You have to be careful with the 2% chocolate milk though. It has artificial sweeteners in it.

Healthier would be u buy areal cabbage as opposed to old cabbage that put through all kinds of processes and chemical. I have a machine that will shred a whole head of cabbage under ten minutes and that includes clean up afterward.

Actually, any UHT (ultra-pasteurized) milk will work for yogurt without having to first be boiled since it's more sterile than low-temp pasteurized milk. People like Fairlife due to the extra protein content which often produces a thicker yogurt.

The cabbage you talked about is how we make vinegrette based coleslaw. I everything besides the cabbage over medium heat until it boils and then pour it over the cabbage and leave it in the fridge.

Put a cookie sheet under your casserole dish in the oven to catch the overflow. That way you don't have a mess in your oven.

I don't necessarily think you will see this but the reason people recommend fairlife milk is just because it's ultra pasteurised milk most grocery stores have their own brand of ultra pasteurised milk which also will work for what's called a "cold start method". But I will say I have used fairlife milk in a does make the best yogurt not really sure why but it works really good, the store brand also works good but it's not as thick and creamy! I do recommend trying it!

Try poppy seed dressing on the shredded cabbage. Tons of recipes on line and you can sub any sweetener you like. Kids like it because it's sweeter and it holds up at a picnic too. I had a friend who looked forward to it all year as I always brought it to our annual event.

Have you tried beet pickled hard boiled eggs? We just buy a large container of picked beets and drop some peeled hard boiled eggs in it for a couple of weeks. They last forever, taste delicious, and are very pretty to boot.

I was saying it gonna overflow!!! Lol, my mama always made big meals for our large family and she had a medium sized roasting pan with a lid. Some folks call it a turkey cooker. Well she loved it more than any pan she ever had and the reason was nothing overflowed and she didn't have to scrub the oven but twice a year, lol. Blessings y'all!!

You’re so busy while you’re pregnant 🤰🏻 but thank God Solo was able to come home to help you take a break; what a blessing you have such a hard working and wonderful husband and children who all pitch in to help each other to get things done. Such a blessed family. Your dog Nessa was feeling so energetic😄 I love to see the pets get all energized having fun like that. I have two dogs and they do that with each other once in a while it’s too funny 😁
