I'm glad that you remembered to submit the exam, because earlier this week I had an entrance exam online and I literally forgot to press send after I finished it and due to that I failed the exam. I studied for an entire month for that exam and all of the work just went down the drain due to a careless error. But after crying for a bit (lol) I've just decided to take this as a sign from the universe that I'm meant to take a gap year :'D. + congrats on finishing your degree!

maya Engel Yup :/. It was my only chance of getting in this year because in Finland there are two main ways of getting in, which are the entrance exams and your high school final exam grades. And as I’m doing the IB, my final exams this year were cancelled entirely and I got my diploma based on predicted grades and my predicted math grade was one grade too low to get into the schools that I applied to. So basically the IB exam cancellation kind of ruled out the grades based admission for me and well I ruined my chances with the entrance exam admission. But I’m thinking of doing the IB exam for maths next November so next year I might get in with just my grades.

All of this really resonates with me as I'm now in my last exam week of Uni. I am so jealous of peers who can be happy with themselves as long as they try their best! For me trying my best means nothing unless I produce a standard of work which I think is acceptable. Such an exhausting mindset to battle with, especially when end-of-third-year-fatigue comes in, haha!

Hey Jack! As a fellow student I feel the pain - you have to remember though, that in a normal exam you would never have this time to pain painstakingly look over your work like you are right now. These long ass exams mean you can find every single mistake or inconsistency you are making and then annoy yourself over it for the next 48 hrs!. You know that you were ready for these exams, just believe that your work has put you were you deserve to be xx Wishing you luck with the final results!

University and finals are always hard but a global pandemic has made it even more challenging this year. Every uni seems to be doing something different, each with it’s own merits and flaws. For me, my final 4 university essays (ever) were all due at the same time today. This was really stressful but I am proud of myself for achieving it and has also given me something to do during lockdown. Well done Jack for completing your degree in less than ideal conditions. You should be so proud of yourself
