I only cross stitch over single crochets but definitely wanting to try regular cross stitching! I also have a very chunky cat that loves laying in my lap CONSTANTLY. Awh! You know what they say, great minds think alike 😁♥ I have yet to try xstitch over single crochets, it looks so neat! But I can definitely recommend trying out regular xstitch :D ♥ ♥

Hiii! I loved the mitts you made! I’ve been rotating between a crochet witch hat to have for my costume this year and a pair of socks so I can have a collection to wear in the fall/winter. 😊 love these videos cuz it feels like we all work on our WIPS together

Niche is not how my brain works, haha! 😂 I love trying new crafts and picking up more hobbies (that in itself is maybe a hobby lol) x) I'm glad it all works together :D You can and SHOULD do everything you enjoy! Limiting your creativity is the best way to burn out and get art block, imo! ❤️🌸

I was having breakfast while watching, but on the couch across from me, there is a bag with a sweater I started last year when I was teaching one of my yarn group ladies how to make a sweater. She finished hers, but I am still working on mine. It's a striped, top-down cardigan in dark red, charcoal grey, and grey. I'll be adding the ribbing in black. I want to finish already! But school and homework have been taking over a lot of my free time.

The Genshin update definitely contributed to me getting behind on my projects. Finally sat down to work on my cardigan sleeves. Sleeves always feel like they take forever. Had a dream a few weeks ago about my roommate and I getting another cat. Which happened to be orange and named Chedddar.

While watching this video I am knitting my first sweater using lesbian pride yarn from Big twist lol. the yarn is actually very soft! I am not using a pattern but im just knitting it in panels so I dont really feel like i need one, maybe i will regret that decision but thats a future me's problem

Ohh, nice! How is it working up? I've seen mixed reviews on the colour repeats. We don't have the pride yarns here (or any big twist afaik), otherwise I'd have loved to try them out myself! :D For a sweater you can totally get away with just doing panels. You might want to bind some stitches off for a neckline, but otherwise you're fine! . I made a video earlier this year recreating a fast fashion sweater by knitting in panels, it has some rough guidelines on the shaping :)

I have never seen this method of cross stitching onto fabric like with pulling the canvas apart at the end? I need to try this!! I have some pastel embroidery floss I've been wanting to use for something whimsical! I love the skirt you made too it is so autumn-y. I am working on a Moonflower Pullover that I'm freestyling to try and make a sweater dress but I have a feeling I have messed up my increase rate 🙊

It's super clever! There's also water soluble waste canvas now (like, completely soluble), which is probably even more convenient :) Definitely go for it! 🤩 Thank you! Moonflower sweater dress sounds like it's going to be so beautiful, and cozy! but ahh, no! Add in a lifeline, so you can easily rip back if you need to without frogging the whole thing ❤️
