So the original brake setup did you have to cut that off to also fit the torque converter

I dont think so, but that stock brake definitely isn't safe enough when you start riding faster.

man sign me up for 4 of those hubs and caliper brackets. I have 2 t-birds, one for myself and one for my wife and like to have hyd disc brakes on front and rear of both. i can pay pal

It toke them literally like a year to make a seat pan and bracket and seat and a disc break set up that u could a just bought from gopowersports or some place that sell kits or who wheels set ups I'm all about the diy I'm doing a rupp 69 digger a gilson wards 525 a micro mini motovox and a thunderbird all look show room quality and I don't have near the tools you guys do well no drill press or the thing you lined the plate up on but most the rest oh no turkey cuter ether 😂 but I give u guys an A for effort and for that I'll subscribe not sure if you guys still make videos haven't looked yet but hopefully

Brake calipers work best if they can float, like in a car .

It is a floating caliper, the mounting kit includes pins. The issue was with the rotor being mis-aligned.

The stock scrub brake would've worked fine. That's how I run my thunderbird and I can lock up the back tire and skid to a stop

Did you mod it at all? My scrub brake seems sketchy. Ive seen people put tire rubber on the paddle to get more stopping power
