Good job teaching your children to do laundry young. When my daughter went to college (many years ago) she was shocked at the number of kids who didn't know how to do laundry. The smart parents teach their children to be independent adults - that is our job. Keep up the good work.

I love how the kids maneuver through their morning chores. Their tactics for pumping the water and removing clothes from the washing machine, although they could barely reach, indicates a direction of self-sufficiency and self-reliance as opposed to complacency and helplessness. I love seeing how those awesome kids aren't afraid to do a little hard work and pitch in with the family ❤ 💙 "to do list"!!! It was definitely a little difficult to get the laundry out of the machine but with a little ingenuity & teamwork got it empty & using the same teamwork was able to get the basket load to the final destination! Are you using a dryer or just hanging it up inside the barn? I wish more parents would see this and know that there's nothing wrong with having them pitch in! Too many go to the extreme of letting them "just be kids" and not teaching them the value of their contributions to family, church/community, work and life"!!!! Your kids will love what you are doing ❤ 💙 💖 for them when they're older and look back to these times! They will be able to go to college & do their laundry & fix a meal, sweep & clean their place etc bc mom & dad gave them a little responsibility including the ❤ care of those precious sweet animals outside.
