You have to pick up certain collectibles and do side quests that fill Lily's "gauge/bar" and lily will ask you to go to Eidos 9 during the story only if her gauge/bar is filled and obviously he beelined main story so no he didn't even get the choice.

Not sure what he was expecting... He speedran the game, skipped an entire region, got like half the upgrades and exospines, literally spams one attack because that's the only thing he has upgraded and is now complaining of not doing enough damage. But this has always been the way Charlie plays through souls games his first time, before revisiting it months later with a more open mindset and exploring the world. But he probably will never return to this game because porn game.

He skips lore and upgrades and entire regions and will regurgitate the same thing every reviewer he sees says which is story bad. He's going to have a rough time with the next 2 bosses anyway which will give him a pretty bad experience with the game. Reminds me of the time he first played Sekiro and had to cheese Isshin because he barely learnt deflecting and had half the upgrades and techniques.

Moist, i like your gameplay, but man, you haven't given this game a chance to shine. It has more side content than any other dark souls game. This IP has a identity of its own like lies of P. You skipped veerything and never took the time to read or listen to the story time except pay attention to your stream. You wouldnt have an issue of beating bosses if you took the time to invest in your skills. You're good but some enemies were kicking your ass and you skipped them.

This is seriously one of the most fun games I’ve ever played in terms of combat and gameplay. And has some of my favorite bosses in recent memory. Up there with souls games bosses. Also, hogwarts legacy was never good. The gameplay and world design was always hot garbage. So I agree with you there. This game isn’t that. It genuinely has immaculate gameplay
