A short, cold but productive evening at least, engine bay fuses wired up, all installed and ready to go. Ignition and stop lights. So that is the engine bay done. Slight pause to show there is no mystery to these factory style crimps, just a crimp tool with a couple of shaped dies to fold over the tabs and a bit of patience. Keeps a nice look rather than insulated crimps.
Then the wiper motor and horn is done
Only a couple more bits to do and we are there.
It actually takes a lot less time than it looks.
AS you can see when inserting fuses actually having a left thumb that does not works never helps and I still try and use it like it does :-)
Part 1 covers from engine bay to interior light and planning
Part 2 covers more planning, horn, lighting, indicators, pawl, wiper motor, ignition, stop lights,
Part 3 stripping the engine bay loom, fitting battery fuses, alternator fuses, new alternator wiring, removing the surplus and tidy up.
Part 4 Finish up the engine bay fuses and ignition fuses, fit the fuses to the wiper motor, make up spade ends using crimping tool, fitting fuse inline with horn feed then test I have not broken anything !
Part 5 Change of plan - fit fuses at ignition switch rather than cut into any wiring or move binnacle
Part 6 Set some fuses and its a wrap
