What I can summarise from this video... Wide seat, wide backrest, no head rest, no recline, less moving parts (= more space and less repairs?). To me it looks great. I always sit in a yoga position in a normal chair. Looking forward to try it. Going to be interesting to see how easy it is to slide in yourself in the footwell without reclining function.

Nice presentation. However as far as I see, her leg touches the front corner (0:54). If she is 5 foot 7 it is OK for most guys, else you need to bend your knee. Not physiologically comfortable for long flights.

Flew it a few days ago. I'm 6'3 / 190cm and I was able to stretch out. I actually quite enjoyed the seat and it belongs to one of my favorite Business Class seats out there. The only dislike I have, was that you can't tilt the screen.

Great idea. I usually recline my seat fully flat and then sit in the shell like this. So the new seat is perfect for me 🙂

i never liked reclining seat. this flat seat is great. i can do yoga or even cook instant noodles while sitting cross legged.

Flown this product a few times now and generally love it. It's great to have such a spacious product even on the A330s which generally tend to have narrow business class seats. It is stylish and has a much better ambience than previous A350s However Finnair has seem to forgotten that some people might need/want a headrest of some sort at certain times? It might not be a good option for me because I cannot adjust the backrest. I love business class seats that can be adjusted to whatever angle I like, not like this one with a fixed backrest.

Avoid this airline. Price seem cheap, but when u want to add services that everyone else offers, the price goes almost to Qatar levels while all services are lowcost. Also, you cannot ever contact them, in app chat, phone, wish you luck…2 weeks were not enough. No email support either. Worst experience

Yeah right in my family and my dad who flies a lot because of his job, Finnair has never failed in anything. The response is always fast and helpful.

@@kakkssjefkstay4467 This was Finnair some time ago... I can't agree more with @Johny5. Platinum member, fly them extremely frequently. They are getting worst by the day! Cancellation with basically not other options are now so frequent that I start to look for alternatives for Finnair. They are far from what they have ever been. The customer service is not up to standards. Long wait times, yes also after the additional staff has been hired... They are expensive, but give you a low cost service. Sorry Finnair, but your losing me as a customer and you couldn't care less based on the customer service your providing.
