Does the size of the tree make a difference to you when you discover there was some fault in a stump? I notice you didn't say anything about it in the first stem. I cut a .5 m maple a month ago 1 meter up through solid wood, but when I removed the stump there was ant damage in the first 2/3rds. I'm not sure my ear is good enough yet to have found it. Thanks for another inspiring video :)

The title is misleading. He did it the way it pretty much had to be done, but he had initially thought that he would take the final piece and drop it on top of the first section(s). imo, that was never going to work, and the way he did it was the clear correct choice.

I have seen worse. I have been caught sawing with Partner saw, (with Jonsereds bar), Jonsered boots, Husqvarna trousers, and Stihl helmet.
