It was one of my favorite performances by Fiona (esp of this song), I was so sad when it was taken down. Now I just barely remembered it and thought to look it up, hoping it was back on here. no i remember this show actually and she said in an interview the purple thing was a rag from a cloth she ripped up. haha you have to understand that this was shortly after her debut and people were still trying to make her into a mainstream folk girl like sarah mclahlam (sorry dont know how to spell her name) so i think she was trying perhaps a bit to hard to break out of that mold and become who she is today

Sarah McLachlan was cool for a while but sadly, she lost me after her third album I believe. Her music got extremely boring and depressing in such a way that I actually threw away her 2013 album. But when I was a teen in the late 90s, she taught me how to sing.
