I wrote this song when I was 12 years old and it was played at my Grandmother's funeral. All the grandchildren carried a rose to the coffin. Mum-Mum (the name I gave her as a small child) didn't get to see the song released or my music career, but she was there (she helped raise me) when I wrote and practiced and she knew I always wanted to be a musician, so I'm sure she wouldn't be surprised that I have gone on to become a pianist and composer.

@@fionajoymusic yes i already felt music is healing what we all go through in life and it is a blessing if you can spell as beautifully as you As a young girl I also had piano lessons for some years I have a viola how long have you been playing music

@@JannekeMeindert I started at age 8. My Grandmother moved in with a 100 year old German iron frame piano and Mum showed me where the notes were. It was like a jigsaw puzzle, I taught myself to read music and learned Fur Elise (the first page and a half( in six weeks. They thought it might help to get me piano lessons. I had found the thing I loved and my area of aptitude - can't say I was good at much else so it was a blessing.
