evertime i do the rasterize and select color part is just implants the flames onto my background layer and i cant move it anywhere

How do you start with the black background ? When I start a new project it starts with a white background, I don't know how to take it out.

Make an empty layer, and fill it with a black background ( In this example i had black rectangle filling the size of the canvas )

this tutorial is for affinty PHoto

I think it's Affinity Designer based on the logo in the top left. Affinity Photo has a purple logo with an iris shape in the centre, while Designer has a blue logo.
