Very cool! I have a HC oil pump & block work on my 394Ci 6.4L. With the 180 stat at temp & idle I see 55PSI. And startup is in the 90’s. I have a lot of buddies of mine are running the Melling pump.

I hope Melling has improved their quality control. I installed a new Melling oil pump on my 05 neon and it locked the engine. Luckily I had the engine the stand and tried to turn it after installing the new pump. I removed the pump and took the back off of it and it was full of metal chips. If I had put the engine in the car the starter might have got the engine to turn and start sending all that metal through the engine.

Melling will be extremely important in all of my upcoming Hemi builds. Will be doing an eagle head swapped 5.7 with a turbo first. Then a 6.1 based 426 stroker in my turbo Jeep. Finally, an eagle head swap in my daily 300c. I could be the Melling man!!

Well there was a bolt on the opp side of the III gen 5.7(2006 chrysler 300c), lifted passenger side up and couldnt align the bellhousing for couple days till i see that the passenger side of the transmission was lifted, did some adjusting with my steel toes, although the engine is rebuilt. I dont feel i lubed it efficiently but anyways great channel to learn about the 5.7, keeping it stock but the melling oil pump compared to the hellcat in one of your previous videos caught my attention, nevertheless keep on melling brother great content

Hey I been a subscriber for a while I have a question no one can answer have a nag1 transmission no park gear keeps rolling and a slight grind noise if you try to put it in park but the car was shifting fine any helpful advice

What kind of a vehicle is it? It sounds like the shifter cable is not allowing the transmission to fully go into park. Might be as simple as an adjustment on the shift cable itself.

It does not happen on the SRT motors because they use shortie headers, not cast manifolds.

@@Czecher86 Not necessarily, It could be the ball joint to the mids among other things, its pretty unlikely for a header bolt to break, again because the car does not have cast exhaust manifolds
