One does not have to beat Kishuna in Genesis, the only requirement is beating three chapters specific chapters, the other two of which just happen to require a Kishuna-defeat to be accessed/beaten.

Interesting, I never imagined the developers managed to create a lot of minor details like those ones I just finished this fire emblem my first one, I have mixed feelings because I love some things like the characters or story but hate some like not having real clues of special events and forcing myself to repeat chapters and using guides lol.
