People are hypocrites with double standards. When it's women drawn in a way that shows off their body, they complain about sexualization. Yet as soon as they see a bare chest on a man, they go wild with jokes and memes.

The problem with "sexier" clothes is that it doesn't make sense in a supposed war game the women go around with a top, shorts, sometimes no armor (even if its winter) but it's more "attractive" for the eyes, and then you see the men with the coolest design with three layers of clothing and accurate armors. It comes to a point where people get frustrated. The thing with Raphael (honestly i'm not a fan of this design) a man without shirt is not always considered sexual innuendo nor is a private part of the body they have to remain hidden. In fact a man with muscles is a power symbol; The Strong Man and all that. Some may simp for it, but again, it's supposed to happen in a battle- a constant war. Raphael dear, how are you going to defend yourself from the arrows and axes. That being said, obviously its not going to change soon. It attracts the kind of public that wants to see this things, so why change the recipe if it still works am I right? So *rubs hands* we have to level the field, so everyone is happy. I would like to see the next alt of a man, naked torso or not naked I dont care, pants or leggings with holes on the buttcheeks and around the crotch but y'know, something visible but that still leaves something to imagination. Or even better, no pants, only a belt with a long piece of clothing (basically something similar to what Lyn wears) no underpants. Now imagine a videogame with every single male character looking like this, at some point you'll start to feel uncomfortable. Now imagine the protagonist, *a minor* with these clothes. How will it make you feel?

Yes, Tharja's voice is much higher pitched in the JP version. Just about every female except for FRobin, Lucina, Cordelia and Cherche have a very high pitched voice in the Japanese version.
