This trailer is great! They were more cohesive choosing the voice lines and cutscenes this time; the initial reveal trailer seemed like they sorta picked random moments. (Plus they showed Raphael footage this time.)

Honestly wasn't too excited for this game at it's first reveal in the last Nintendo direct, but each new trailer has made more more excited. That shot of Claude stopping edelgard and dimitri from fighting with his arrow looked really cool

@@Violet_Erin I did play the demo and it started off that way like it did in Three Houses, but then theri is the war coming of course and it’s in all the routes you got to fight difference enemies, but there are differences unfortunately I have to get a new copy of the game since the copy that got preordered for me from Amazon as a birthday gift the game case got damaged so I had to return it so I’m going to start the full game tonight after I get it from Target, but I’m hoping by the end of all of the routes they will all be united again :)

I was a big fan of the first fire emblem warriors, for its addictive combat and leveling system, and it being a celebration of the series. That said, it was definitely good "as a warriors game". After playing the demo for three hopes, I was so impressed at how the devs have elevated the experience so much, the story, the animation, the combat, so much so that it's not just a good warriors game, it's a must play and a contender for my game of the year. I would encourage everyone to check out the demo, even if you're not a fan of either series. If you want some great medieval fantasy intrigue to get lost in, it's here. it's such a mind-numbingly boring game, enemies just stand around for you to beat up, just a mindless hack and slash. thank god for the demo, i'll just watch a playthrough online since it seems to have a good story at least.

I already played a lot of this game (10 hours in demo and haven't stopped playing since midnight release) and I can say it's a true love letter to both Fire Emblem and Warriors fans. The warriors gameplay fits the war setting so well and some of the big stages are just so epic when you see thousands of soldiers on the stage compared to just a dozen in Three Houses. The combat is much better than Fire Emblem Warriors, in fact, it's the best warriors gameplay they ever made. It's not a braindead button mashing hack and slash, you actually need to carefully plan your attacks strategically. The AIs you command are surprisingly good and you can actually play the entire game that way. The combat can be pretty challenging as the enemy AIs are very aggressive and you need to constantly switch between regular attacks, charge attacks, weapon arts/magic spells, special and parter attacks to overcome them. They also put so much effort into making this game feel like a legit Fire Emblem game, 98% of the dialogues are fully voiced, despite being set in an alternate timeline, the stories are very well crafted and are full of twists and surprises even if you played through Three Houses. All the beloved casts are returning and getting more screentime. Seriously, if you are a fan of either franchise, give it a try! If you are a fan of both, it's really a non-brainer to grab it.

Yeah, the AI are usually competent, but not Claude yesterday when he took 2 minutes to do 25% damage to a Pegasus Knight of a lower level.

@FiveByFive I played Zelda: AOC before this and the framerate in that one is much worse lol, so I personally think the frame rate is actually quite smooth here XD But the game is also available to emulate on PC if you have a very good gaming PC. I think I saw the game running @ 60 FPS on Ryujinx or whatever the switch emulator is called.

The game is an Alternate timeline from 3 Houses- so even if you didn't play it, it isn't neccessary to get the story (though, it picks up way faster- it may help to understand some of the background stuff going on).

There's going be a lot of updates in this game soon (I hope), so we better keep our eyes check. It could be new characters, weapons, paralogues, battalions, some activities, etc. Or, specifically, the crossover of fates, awakening, echoes, (or whatever the incarnation fire emblem series is) are going to be in this alternate time line three houses (or hopes whatever you want to call). We just don't know. Yet.

Part of me would love to see a free Add-On that if your Switch contains the memory of Fire Emblem Warriors, all the playable characters in that game, including the DLC characters, will become playable in Three Hopes. You just need to beat the campaign once in order to play as them. I highly doubt that that will ever happen, as it didn't happen with the two Hyrule Warriors games, but it doesn't mean that I can't hope for that to happen.
