@@TainoMoya I felt that Age of Calamity's combat was far more generic than Pirate Warriors 4. PW4 is like the only game out of the entire Musou franchise that plays the way it does. The original Fire Emblem Warriors was a Samurai Warriors reskin and AOW felt like some lazy Dynasty Warriors clone. 3 Hopes actually feels like a rpg for some reason.

Pirate Warriors 4 is unique in that you can actually jump in the air and do air combo's, also having literal giant sized characters

This game already means a lot to me despite the fact that I have yet to beat it even once. Three Houses is one of my favorite video games, and Three Hopes is basically that game but in a different gameplay format, and the new perspective the story is told from is awesome. It also means a lot to me because it was one of Billy Kametz's final voice acting performances, and he did an incredible job.

This is literally the best warriors game so far, interesting story, reflects the game there making a spin off of, engaging combat that is easy to play but offers tons of depth. Just all around a great experience and I hope to see more like this from the warriors franchise.

Great game, the decision to go for interchangeable classes instead of strict movesets limited to one character was exactly what I wanted from the previous FEW. Some odd holes that hopefully DLC will fill though, like, why is there no mounted sword user? And where the heck did the dark flier class go?

This is the best Warriors game I've ever played! The story is so deep, the mechanics are amazing!! I've beaten the game as Blue Lions, and now I've started a new game plus with the Golden Deer. I'm loving it more and more! I'll keep on playing until Xenoblade Chronicles 3 launches next week 😍

The first FE warrior game was fun but I like how this game is basically just another three houses with warriors gameplay. I guess warrior spinoffs are kinda like that. I believe they'll probably make the agarthans playable but then again since the characters in 3 Hopes aren't unique in gameplay for the most part they could easily das more characters as DLC than in previous Warriors games with less characters and unique movesets.

I just finished the og three houses game a few days ago and only issue I have with it is that you don’t get to continue playing in your original route you chose. Like you don’t get to walk around or do missions over again like you could when you would finish awakening and fates. It just lets you start a new game + with stuff you have already. (I haven’t started the new game + yet so idk much on what you get to do) Like damn so much for maxing out characters skills and levels etc 😭. I hope it’s not the same for this game. I haven’t checked yet.

@@absolutemenagerie639 Exactly. I also just can't get into the gameplay because it feels like a Warriros game with a Fire Emblem paint coat which is not how you do this type of crossover well. Persona 5 Strikers took the Warriors concept, but used it as the paint coat for the Persona stuff and that just works so much better. Beyond that, I hate the character removals and all all Route specific characters. Especially looking at how all the Blue Lions par Ashe as exclusive to Dimitris Route as well as most of the interesting and still playable Church members. The endings also just feel lackluster as compared to Three Houses much more concrete endings, as does the Sothis Arval plotline. Claude kind of feels like he was supposed to be made into something he wasn't at all and they kind of tried to lessen Edelgards bs without fully getting rid of it which actually somehow makes her entire plotline worse. Dimitri basically was given everything from the characters to the only close to concrete ending in the game. Might as well have not even made the other two Routes and just went all in on Dimitri.

Well, I wouldn't say that. Byleth is the reason Shez gets this power in the first place, and the story is its own thing that we try to find our own path to glory and being better than The Ashen Demon.

I'm not too crazy for musou games, but I've played this one for over 100 hours now. It's extremely addicting. I definitely didn't think I'd like it as much as I did after the original Fe warriors which I didn't like.
