Fire Maple Lava Stove Problem fixed.

If you're having problems with your Fire Maple Lava stove, this video is for you.
I have come to really enjoy this stove and I can tell you that this will make a world of difference when it comes to using a stove that you just spent money on. No one likes to spend money on something they cannot use.

I love this stove and yes I was having problems as well. My problem wasn't with the seal you showed however it was a clogged jet in the pan. It was a complete pain to take the stove apart and clean but it does work now. They sent me another stove and I have yet to test it out. It worked fine with the isobutane, but when I used gas it clogged. I shouldn't have to take the stove and clean it every time I swap from isobutane to gas, which is what I told Fire Maple.

Brother, thanks for this. Coffey Spits from 2017 are still running strong! Your analysis and problem fix have sold me on this stove now. Before this video, I was 50/50.

Awesome. I hope it helps. I used a small multi tool with scissors to cut the inside of the o ring out to make it larger. Good luck!!

@MarkYoungBushcraft I used my leatherman scissors. They're small and I was able to cut along the center.

Sounds like a job for a Viton O ring like in old coleman stoves…any chance an O ring fits in there?

Possibly, I tried a round o ring but it didn't seal the greatest. That's why I went the route of cutting the flat seals center out.
