Great to watch them live. When they played in Coventry in the UK a year or two ago. The sound could be heard 13 miles away. I hope some people ask to see some of the music videos. They have some really great mv's.

Saw them live in Cardiff (Wales) in 2022. The heat from the flames was pretty intense, when they played this song, which also happens to be one of my favourite songs from Rammstein. Great reaction, thanks for doing this.. :)

Saw them live last week- exactly with that stage- and it is getting hot everywhere! Best band, best show! And if you go on Buckstabü, you can get english subtitles, it is important with Rammstein because their lyrics.go very deep! It would be fun if you went further with Rammstein . Btw: the audience in the concert was from app. 6 years up to 75 years ;)

This song was originally written as an entrance song for the boxer Vitali Klitschko.. They're basically counting down like a boxing ref (Eins -1-, hier kommt die Sonne; Zwei -2-, hier kommt die Sonne; etc). And you might've heard the name 'Vitali Klitschko' before; he's the major of Ukrainian capital Kyiv since 2014.

Some additional info. Sonne was originally written for Ukrainian heavyweight boxer Vitaly Klitschko's entrances, but his managers found it too hard. But the count to ten symbolises the knock-out expected for the opponent. Klitschko was one of the greatest boxers of his time, he also has a Ph.D. in sports, and he is currently the mayor of Kyiv; the 1300 years old city standing defiant and beautiful against Muscowy's bombardments. Klitschko is a certified badarse. There is a timelapse video of setting up for one of their concerts. It takes six days.

Till Lindemann is an awesome frontman as well as the rest of the band, Till is a licensed pyrotechnician and does all the fire effects for the shows. They put on one heck of a show. I always make sure not to use the cuss word for Lulus age. I'm just trying to be considerate.

I was on their concert in 2009 and I was in second fan zone, so far away from scene. And I can say I was feeling heat from scene flamethrowers, I would say, very "clearly". Can't image how it was close to the scene. You know it's safe (or should be, lol) but still this waves of strong heat make you "wake up" quickly :)

Rammstein is about joy and fun and passion and always beautiful music and outstanding performance. They don't have a message and they don't want to teach you something, they just want entertain and make people say Wow! So "old" gorgeous lady, your reaction was spot on! They have to contact the local fire department before each show and tell them that if they receive call about a possible fire at the stadium, to tell the folks calling that its fine, there's just a concert going on, pretty sure they even restrict the airspace within a couple miles of the stadium too. and that particular stage takes a week to build, and it takes over 60 trucks to transport everything, and when they come to the US and Mexico, it takes 7 planes to get it here

Hi, you three! You should know that Rammstein is another German Band known for their awesome shows and their real cool songs. And I am aware that the pronounciation is always a problem for native english speakers ;-) Donna, regarding the fires you should also know that all members of Rammstein are educated and trained pyrotechnicians. that's why they can produce such awesome fireshows. And seeing (and feeling) these shows live is really a life experience! Whenever you have the chance to, do it! It's absolutely worth it! Ahh, forgot to tell you that I am from Southeast Bavaria here in Germany ;-)

Does everybody understand why they stand on their knee at some point? I can try to explain. [upd] Ok, here my thoughts. I think it's a gesture of solidarity with Ukraine. If you look at the date of the record you can tell it's the first year of Russia-Ukraine war. The group was not aside from this events, e.g. Till had been providing help and assistance for some refugees from Ukraine at railway station in Germany. But you can ask: why this song? Here we should go back to times when and at what circumstances it was written. According to Till Lindemann, the song was originally written as an entrance song for the boxer Vitali Klitschko back in 2000-2001. And if you would look at the lyrics (at the bottom) you can find obvious connections. Vitali Klitschko is a formal heavyweight Ukrainian boxer, world champion in several titles. He spend big part of his life (together with his brother, also boxer, Volodymyr) in Germany, living, training and taking fights. So they were not the last persons in Germany and, if I can say, Germans had kind feelings to them. As the war started, Vitali was a mayor of Ukraine capital, Kyiv. City was bombarded and at some point close to occupation. Nowadays (2024) Vitali still holding his mayor position and bombarding of Kyiv still occurs. So I believe Rammstein had feeling this song is the right place and time to show "we remember".
