there is no trap influence. i am very influenced by old screamo but in this case the vocals are inspired by black and death metal. the music has no heavy vaporwave elements unless you consider the brief sampling of an 80s pop tune to be vaporwave. to me it sounds like some variation of electro pop. the music is created without genre in mind. i just make what i want to hear. 😬

Its funny, when I first saw this video 2 years ago i saw this comment and wondered "wtf is government plates I don't get it" then moved on. A little over a year ago I discovered death grips and listened to the entire discography and they have become my favourite bands after I saw them live. Now Government Plates is one of my favourite albums of all time.
