Michael Lawrence Maag, You can’t copy a song under copyright. You have to credit the artists. This song is exempt from that particular lawsuit because Stills didn’t write it, though Manassas recorded it before Firefall did. Chris Hillman and Rick Roberts wrote it when they were still in the Flying Burrito Brothers. When Chris took it to Manassas, Stills rewrote the lyrics for that version.
