Massive respect from Great Britain. I was young when those scumbags attacked your nation and I remember seeing the bullhorn speech on my TV in Nottingham England. Looking back now, it was a long war but it seems the younger generation don't want to be terrorists as they realize where it will lead them.

FDR getting America to get into WW2 is another great speech - both basically the same: "you made a very bad mistake and we're going to show you consequences." I do like regardless of administration, America is consistent on that foreign policy -- accountability.

The emotions about 9/11 were far more raw, animalistic, and unfiltered than Dec. 7th, 1941. The attack on Pearl Harbor, as horrible as it was, was still a military on military battle on a military base. 9/11 was crazy lunatics who'd lost their humanity attacking defenseless, innocent civilians on civilian soil. Frankly if President Bush got up the camera and just said flat out "we're coming after every single one of you m f'ers, and you better hope to get blown up or killed quickly because if we capture you we will torture you for days and give you a blood transfusion to keep you alive if we have to" I don't think any American would have been upset with that kind of reaction at that time.
