And the grudges meant shit for Tully and Kate and that's why they only needed 2 words to get over them because they are soulmates. This series is exceptional. Esp the scene where Tully was being taken away and Kate says 'I'm her family', couldn't help the tears. As a girl who went through alot of childhood abuse, abandonment and death of a mum by 15. You can't choose a good family to love, protect you but the few chosen friends who have chosen you will love you like their life depends on it. That's this series, it's hopeful, is spectacular its inspiring. Watch it.

I enjoyed every bit of this movie - the well-matched cast, the storyline, the back and forth and present. Heigl played both pretentious and down to earth -- she did a convincing down to earth job! I mention Heigl because have never seen most of the other actors in other movies, so I don't know them. BUT THEY WERE FANTASTIC!

I had avoided watching this series because I'm not a fan of either of the two lead actresses and felt that I wouldn't be able to sit through it. One of my high school friends recommended it to me and said it reminded her of us (our classmates) through the years. I'm so glad that I took her advice. I'm on season 2 and I know by the time it ends that I will want more. Exceptional performances by the whole cast. Even though the series skips through three time-lines, it's well woven and gives the view insight into the behaviour of the leads and those that surround them. Really, really well done.

I enjoyed both actresses interaction as it seemed flawless and not just "acting"! Everyone's role was well presented and while I thought it was lengthy I can see how it ended where it did. Sometimes stories are stretched too thin and the ending leaves you - this ending was appropriate. It is proven that great friendships are needed to travel this journey on earth. Nice to see a good actress being given another chance at doing a job where she hopefully appreciates and realizes that sometimes certain things are not meant to be said in public no matter her feelings. Brilliant, Loved It!! Just finished watching this series and I have to say is probably the best series I have seen in a long time. Great writing, great acting, highly addictive, be warned, it will be difficult not to binge-watch the entire series. Highly recommend and can't wait for series 2.

From what I've seen of the show so far, they pretty much are each others' Soulmates. They just don't love each other sexually or romantically. Lovers & spouses come & go in their lives, but they always have each other's backs. I honestly think that that's more beautiful than a romance.

Yeah, but in the end of episode 7, they warned us that something was going on..Kate and Marah saw Tully who just got out from the car and they went inside the church without talking to her..Not to mention that Tully and Kate are not on speaking terms for 2 years..

@@anuragsharma8001 I am pretty sure that this has nothing to do with Johnny..Their friendship was too deep to let a man tear them apart..My guess is that Kate's daughter got in the way or something with the job since they were going to work together..Of course you can read the book..You can find there what tore them apart for 2 years but I am not sure that the series is going to follow the book

Am I the only one that didn‘t really like (adult) Tully and felt sorry for Kate for the whole story? I mean honestly it seems like she‘s always the second choice for everyone, her family, her husband, her daughter, ... and that despite the fact that she‘s a great writer and a really kind person that never did anything bad to anyone :( I nearly cried when her brother treated her like crap at his wedding and let Tully set a toast but not his own sister? Must hurt.

Even with knowing that they linked back up in their future (at some point).... my heart still hurt for them. Great acting by the young ladies... Especially young Kate.
