Did you ever try a Yamaha Revstar?

Hello!.. I have not, which is surprising since I'm a huge vintage Yamaha fan. I've had quite a few 80s and 90s Yamahas. Do you have a Revstar, and if so, what model? I might have to grab one for a review.

@ I currently don’t but I’m definitely getting one. These aren’t vintage, as far as I know they originally came out around 10 years ago. They have 3 levels of Revstars. Element which is the most affordable, then the Standard which is the mid level and the one I’m most interested in getting, then the Pro which is the flagship model. I would highly recommend a Revstar. I had an Element and a Standard. I actually preferred the sound of the Element better and found that it's 3 way pickup selector and Dry Switch (a high-pass filter) was more useful than the 5 way selector and Focus Switch (a mid boost) on the Standard, at least for the stuff I play. A couple things I liked about the Standard, though, was that it had a carbon reinforced neck, a maple cap, and stainless steel frets. I've since sold both to fund other purchases, but I wouldn't hesitate to get another one. I also really like the P90 version, which I tried as well but didn't buy. If I get another one, it would probably be the P90 version because I have really become a big fan of P90 pickups.
