Fantastic job, Team Jay, a rural vibe if ever there was one. The Evolve stone looks great, I was impressed with it when Jaime and Erik used it. The mantles look as if they've beeb there for years. All in all a good project. Stay safe and well 🔨🔨🔨🔨🔨 We have 4 adults, 8 dogs and 3 cats in our house on the side of a mountain in West Wales, UK. Never a dull moment 😂😅

I don't know if you've seen those spray can mixers like the MixKwik that attach to a reciprocating saw, but it would be a great idea for the manufacturer of that tintable caulk to consider making one that's sized to the diameter of the caulk tubes.

Looks good man. I like the two mantels. Only thing I personally would of done differently is I would of stoned that whole wall and butted tight to the trim everywhere. But ya, 100% of a improvement. I also know the grind of coming home to work on your own house as I’m a finish carpenter. It’s pretty much the last thing you want to do after doing it all day long.

Use the little Atomic DeWalt circular saw. You can easily set the depth, and the stock blade can easily go through even stucco.

J you could use some steel rod drill into the studs are 3 1/2 so go in 3 in and then whatever you want coming out going into the mantle and just slide The Mantel onto the rods I would think that'd be pretty solid
