Glad you're back! You know there are a lot of people making videos about camping, hiking and, well anything and everything outdoors and that is a great. But some people are just more pleasant to watch than others. I don't know how to explain it, but some people have a talent for sharing experiences. You are one of those people. I've been a subscriber for a coupe of years now and I always look forward to checking out a new video in my down time. It's just simply enjoyable to watch. It always inspires me to get outside and enjoy our time. What you do truly is an art form and I appreciate you taking the time to share. Thanks again! And NO PRESSURE! Definitely not trying to add any pressure or raise to bar. Just continue to be yourself!

Super cool to have you back John "of course". You have been sorely missed. A loss close to the heart is hard. I hope you soon find peace there that should come with time and with prayer. I've always loved your videos, but what I love most about your channel are the backpacking trips. You mentioned that you have been in need of your trips that just get away. Those are my favorite trips, and I hope you can share more of them. I have watched your trip with the super-ultralight waist pack at least 30 times. It has been somewhat of an oasis when I'm stressed at work or just need to feel the outdoors when I can't get out for a while. Thanks for all you have done, and I hope you the best going forward.

It is unfortunate you have to experience a loss like this. I feel you, I lost my grandfather then 20+ days later lost my father then 6 months later lost my grandmother. There is not a day that goes by that they are not in my thoughts. The one thing i have learned and come to appreciate are the lessons they have taught me that helped shaped me. Although they are gone, those memories stay with and comfort me. I hope you find something similar to hold on to to comfort you in this time of loss.
