They're not technically a scam. You do get a "product", only it's overpriced and useless (can't reach anyone if you ever need to) and the company can disappear overnight. There's bad products...then there's scams. 🤷

Every time I answer their question, they hang up immediately. Doesn't matter if I give them a real vehicle make/model/year, doesn't matter if I give a fake one, and it doesn't matter if I point out that if they know my "warranty" is expiring then they should know what vehicle it belongs to -- they get a response and instantly end the call. I haven't figured out their angle on that scam yet.
