It’s really frustrating when I see stuff like that. I know it’s really hard for immigrants to earn money here and try to make a better life for their kids, I mean I’ve seen it first hand from my parents. But the difference is other people work hard and usually have to start from scratch. But these guys, the route they take is disgusting and these scammers know what they’re doing and I know for a fact he will never tell his kids about this. Cuz when their kid gets older, they would lose complete respect for him

You can feel the regret, the shame, the lies, the reluctance, but also the mental gymnastics he's going through internally. One mention of his kid and you can feel Kit has held up a mirror and dude doesn't like what he sees.

Okay so I have been listening to you for a couple of years now. I work for Walmart and started listening when I was the manager in Produce. After getting from there to Garden and now the Front End manager where I am the manager over Customer Service, I am shocked at just how many people actually fall for these scams and end up in my store. In just six months I have had at least one every two weeks in just my store alone and I have used the information you provide and your channel in particular to teach people and save them from getting scammed. One recently I had a man with seven Apple cards he wanted to buy for 500$ a pop. Instantly suspicious but your video made me look down at what he was holding because I remember the scammers would have them stay on the phone while they are in the store. And there it was. He was on the line still. I saved this guy from losing everything. I directed him to your channel and told him to watch some of your videos to learn more about how these people work. Every scam I now get to stop is a credit to what you do. Thank you for everything you are doing and keep up the good work!

Also they would start doubting earlier and he couldn’t waste so much time. Much better not to reveal. Even when they question him he can get them to believe he’s a real old person on the phone and continue with the scam. Much more fun to make them lose their minds. They have no self control.
@blazaybla22
@blazaybla22 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I think it’s way more effective to just let them sit there in despair feeling like they failed. Revealing just gives them the feeling of having been pranked which sure, not a great feeling at first, but eventually there’s that like “okay that wasn’t real” feeling of relief, and I think depriving them of that goes a lot further in the long run

I like this reveal because it offers a varied ending to the videos. It would also make scammers question if all callers are real or not, and is an opportunity to shame them. So for me, a good mix of reveal/nonreveal is good 🙂
@Veyron722skyhook
@Veyron722skyhook 2 жыл бұрын
Another thing it can potentially do is make scammers potentially paranoid. If baiters stopped revealing altogether, it'd have scammers possibly more on edge and potentially likely easier to mess up their scams because they might mistake a real victim for a baiter and potentially screw the scam up.

It was spring time the weather was cold and her body started to shut down which ultimately caused her death from internal bleeding. Most people stay poor, only a lucky few get out of it. My parents are two very lucky people, and even they admit the stars were aligned just right for them at that time. I respect the hell out of you for putting in so much time and effort just to ruin these scumbags' day, and to help real, vulnerable people not get scammed. And the fact that you also reply to so many of your fans' comments is amazing. I can really tell that this is very personal for you, I assume you've been burned by scammers in the past. And it's great to see content creators who aren't just in it for the money, and are really passionate about it, and also are doing a great thing. I'm not going to tell you what I do for a living but some of us profit off others misery to survive because everyday has been misery to us and we are left with no options. nobody is born wanting to hurt others, but when it's you or someone else, you ALWAYS choose you.
