Okay so I have been listening to you for a couple of years now. I work for Walmart and started listening when I was the manager in Produce. After getting from there to Garden and now the Front End manager where I am the manager over Customer Service, I am shocked at just how many people actually fall for these scams and end up in my store. In just six months I have had at least one every two weeks in just my store alone and I have used the information you provide and your channel in particular to teach people and save them from getting scammed. One recently I had a man with seven Apple cards he wanted to buy for 500$ a pop. Instantly suspicious but your video made me look down at what he was holding because I remember the scammers would have them stay on the phone while they are in the store. And there it was. He was on the line still. I saved this guy from losing everything. I directed him to your channel and told him to watch some of your videos to learn more about how these people work. Every scam I now get to stop is a credit to what you do. Thank you for everything you are doing and keep up the good work!

@gabesmom56152 жыл бұрын
Also they would start doubting earlier and he couldn’t waste so much time. Much better not to reveal. Even when they question him he can get them to believe he’s a real old person on the phone and continue with the scam. Much more fun to make them lose their minds. They have no self control.
@blazaybla222 жыл бұрын
Yeah I think it’s way more effective to just let them sit there in despair feeling like they failed. Revealing just gives them the feeling of having been pranked which sure, not a great feeling at first, but eventually there’s that like “okay that wasn’t real” feeling of relief, and I think depriving them of that goes a lot further in the long run
@academyjason2 жыл бұрын
Its better not to reveal so that they can actually think that Seniors can be that senile and make them think its not worth it
@elises36002 жыл бұрын
I like this reveal because it offers a varied ending to the videos. It would also make scammers question if all callers are real or not, and is an opportunity to shame them. So for me, a good mix of reveal/nonreveal is good 🙂
@Veyron722skyhook2 жыл бұрын
Another thing it can potentially do is make scammers potentially paranoid. If baiters stopped revealing altogether, it'd have scammers possibly more on edge and potentially likely easier to mess up their scams because they might mistake a real victim for a baiter and potentially screw the scam up.

I lost $9000, to a very similar scam. I am completely mortified. Same with Bank of America, etc..I had a panic attack and lost my mind. I will never again call on any "Malware" warning screen with a phone number for Microsoft Assistance.

Hard to believe that anything changes in life of this scammer.

The scammer was fucking crying and having a mental breakdown at the words of kitboga. Poor scammer's son, I pray that he grows up away from what his father does. Keep up the good work, kit!
